*Spoiler Alert*
Thoughts: I couldn't bring myself to finish this book. I got to page 79, where Loren Blake gives Zoey a pair of diamond earrings after a kissing session, and had to stop.
This book started out on a bad note and just seemed to get worse as it went along, which is upsetting because I was interested in what was going to happen to Stevie Rae. The book writing was horrible and juvenile, and I honestly couldn't stand the fact that Zoey was with three guys. THREE. This is a book for teenagers, so what makes it okay to write about a student making out with a teacher and finding it exhilarating? Zoey would be a better role model if the authors had spent less time spreading her love life around to three men and instead made her focus on one person at a time. Aphrodite is a slut for trying to give her boyfriend a blowjob (alright...he technically wasn't her boyfriend at the time), and yet it's completely normal and acceptable for Zoey to be dating three different men?
It's really a shame, because I was interested in the story part of the book...but all of the unnecessary drama and horrible writing completely ruined it. Officially the end of the series for me.
Happy Reading,
Suzanne =)
