Thoughts: This was a short but incredibly good book. I loved how the story changed back and forth from the 1700s and the present day, showing how Rachel/Risika's personality changed as she adjusted to life as a vampire and comparing it to present day.
I like how Alexander, her dead brother, was brought back into the picture at the end of the story and am incredibly curious what he is/what role he will have later on in the series.
I would highly recommend this book to anyone either looking for an interesting book or just trying to kill and hour or so (that's literally how long it took me)
